‘The Walk’ and its related pieces were created over a three year period spanning the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Constructed entirely from a single 3’ x 19’  sheet of paper and later hand knotted onto transparent tulle. From the cut paper remains of ‘The Walk’ simple earth like vessels were created meant to hold the seeds of local plant varieties beneficial to pollinators.  Additional paper scraps were used to create seed bombs which were then distributed to community members to plant. The used blades were sewn onto a workwear jacket. These pieces were shown in 2024 at the Multnomah Arts Center in Portland, Oregon in a two person show with Jingzi Zhao titled Moving Work.
